Recreational Jump-Rope

Tri-Force offers several recreational level Jump Rope classes intended to introduce the sport to athletes of all ages. Class curriculums range from introductory level to preparing athletes for our competitive team.

Our classes focus on single rope, partner, and double dutch jumping. Athletes will work on specific skill sets intended to prepare them for the next level of recreational jumping.

Tri-Force offers Introductory Level, Level 1, Level 2, and Double Dutch classes.

Introduction to Jump Rope:

This class is intended for the beginner jumper. Athletes will focus on learning the basics of single rope and double dutch jumping. Consecutive jumping, speed step, and entering/exiting double dutch ropes will be some of the primary goals. Along with these basics, athletes will be exposed to basic footwork and armwork skills.

Monday 6:00-6:55PM

Level 1:

This class picks up where the Introductory class left off. Once the athletes have learned the basics of jumping single rope and double dutch, they will continue to be challenged with more complex footwork and rope manipulation skills. Multiple unders will also be introduced and focused on in this class. Timed speed and power jumps will be introduced in this class.Athletes will incorporate single rope skills into their double dutch jumping.

Monday 5:00-5:55PM

Wednesday: 5:00-5:55 PM

Level 2:

After having mastered the fundamentals learned in the first two classes, athletes will focus mainly on further developing their single rope and double dutch skills. Jumpers will work on more advanced rope manipulation, multiple unders, and combination skills. Athletes will learn to incorporate movement and synchronized group jumping along with other skill sets.Jumpers will be introduced to the tryout requirements for the competitive team and focus on meeting those goals.

Monday: 7:00-7:55 PM

Double Dutch:

This class is offered for those athletes who want to focus specifically on improving their double dutch skills. The course can be taken by itself or would make a great addition to the Level 1 or 2 recreational classes. Jumpers will spend the entire hour focusing on double dutch turning and jumping skills.
